Thought I would share this in case anybody wanted an alternative to hydroton/gravel base drainage for their terrariums. This gives you a significantly lighter option

Just a simple 10 gallon build

Bought the crate at home depot comes in sheets, found back in the lumber section.

I measured for a 10 gallon and then cut back so basically I had a face 18x8", then measured the sides and front attaching each with cable ties.

Then covered with mesh and set in the tank

Hydroton placed around the crate

Layer of moss over everything and add soil and a few plant/leaf litter

That seems like a great option for larger tank setups...anything to make them easier to move when needed is a plus!
